Many children have ambitions to play for their favourite teams or to set out on a path that might lead them to become the Olympic stars of the future.

SPORT Active introduces the skills, techniques, rules and regulations of a wide variety of sports and activities, from basketball to gymnastics, football and many more. Typically run in 60 minute sessions after school, all children are encouraged to take part to a level that suits them and through which they can see their skills develop into superstars of the future.

An essential part of training for all sports is learning to compete fairly and to win or lose with respect for other competitors. Children participating on this course will also learn to:

  • Improved control, coordination, balance, agility and flexibility
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with others
  • Ability to follow rules and respect themselves and others
  • Set realistic challenges to achieve

Everyone is invited to join the fun at Premier Sport Holiday!

Inspire to Engage is Premier Sport’s brand new holiday course initiative. Your children will keep busy and active with a huge variety of activities and sports for them to enjoy during the school holiday. The fun environment on our holiday courses means they mix with loads of children of their own age, get active and most importantly have fun.

The programme is accessible across all age groups and abilities. It ensures your children have fun with friends, at the same time learning the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle. The programme helps your child improve their communication skills, build their self-confidence and develop valuable social skills.

It’s a fantastic, healthy, way for them to get out of the house. They love being active and of course it’s cool being with friends. The usual verdict is ‘brilliant

At participating venues Children attending these activities can also work towards a Passport to Learning certificate, developed by the Children’s University.

And don't forget we offer early-bird discounts on all our holiday activity, so book at least two weeks prior to the start of the course to receive a 15% discount… Great hey!

4yr olds welcome on this course…

We’re pleased to let you know that children who are four can attend this course on a half day basis. Please contact our head office for more details and to book a place.

Welcome to the Premier camp at Bishop wood. Over the course of the day(s) that your child spends with us they will have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities lead by one of our experienced Activity Professionals. Your child will have the opportunity to try a number of different sports including: football, rugby, netball and hockey. Also for those signing up to performing arts you will have the chance to do a number of dance, cheerleading, drama and street dance activities and on the Thursday a performance to the parents will be held. If a certain sport is not appealing to your child, they will have to opportunity to try their hand at one of the adventure activities. These include: archery, fencing and Nerf Wars (on certain days). Each day your child will also have the chance to buy items from our tuck shop run every lunchtime (£1 maximum spend). On your child's first day they will be put into a team. For the duration of their time on camp they will compete to gain points for their team. Points will be awarded for a number of different actions including: showing great skill in the sports or adventure activities, winning in the competitions run across both the sport and adventure activities and other behaviour deem good and acceptable by the Activity Professionals. We will also be raising money for Premier Foundation by having a ‘pie face the coach day’ on the last day, where the children can donate money and vote (20p per vote) to nominate which of the coaches working that day they would like see to get the shaving cream pie to the face. This will be held at lunchtime so that no matter what course your child is signed up to, they will have the opportunity to participate if they are at camp on the day.
