Spring into Action

Now that the wet and cold season is (hopefully) behind us, it’s time to look ahead, and get fit for summer. With many of us dreaming of being in shape for summer, there’s no time like the present to dust down the Lycra and limber up for a workout.

Whether you’re a fanatical footballer, a serial cyclist, or a newcomer to the world of fitness, there is an activity waiting to be discovered by you. If you weren’t bitten by the January fitness bug, then Spring is your time to shine – and if you were straight back in the gym on January 1st, good on you, keep up the great work!

Cycle with the kids

Why not head out to the Great British countryside for a bike ride with the children? The countryside is teeming with life in springtime, with newborn lambs and blooming flowers all around – it’s a wonderful place to be. And what better way to experience it than a leisurely cycle with your loved ones.

Yoga

With the sun starting to shine, and the warm air blowing, Spring is the perfect time to discover something new – like Yoga. Finding a relaxing atmosphere in which to practice; alone, with friends or as part of a class, Yoga is an excellent form of exercise, as well as a pathway to stress relief and mindfulness.
